The piano music of Alison Chung-Yan will create an atmosphere that is elegant, sophisticated and intimate.

Alison has been playing the piano for 31 years.  During this time she has performed as a soloist and also has a number of music students whom she teaches privately. Classically trained in piano performance under the Western Ontario Conservatory of Music, Alison is a graduate of Carleton University’s Sonic Design program, has served as a sessional lecturer on the Faculty of Music at Carleton University and is a member of SOCAN (Society of Composers, Authors and Music Publishers Canada) and the Guild of Canadian Film Composers.

She performs music ranging from the Baroque, Romantic and Classical periods to Contemporary Popular standards.

Alison carefully tailors her music to the occasion.  She ensures that each guest is able to hear and enjoy the music while still being able to engage in conversation.
